2008 sophomore album from the young Country singer/songwriter who charmed the hearts and charts of America beginning with her debut single 'Tim McGraw'. Her triple-platinum self-titled debut release has scanned over 3.4 million units and spent more weeks at #1 than any other Country album this year: 24 weeks! Taylor is the only Country female artist to have five Top 10 singles from a debut album and the only Country female vocalist this decade to reach the Top 5 on Billboard's Hot 100 Chart. Needless to say, she's a sensation that has only just begun to show what she is capable of. 13 tracks including the single 'Love Story' and 'Change', first heard during the 2008 Summer Olympics.

Customer Rating: Summary: Taylor Swift's sophomore CD, glimpses of distinction and mediocrity Comment: Young country music sensation Taylor Swift recently released "Fearless," the highly anticipated follow-up to her debut album. And with it, it seems Swift was looking to give her fans some of her familiar sound mixed with a little bit of experimentation.
Probably the most intriguing track on the album is the outstanding "Love Story" sporting an old school sound infused with something of a new and modern feel. The songs "White Horse" and "Change" are also quite good and feature a style reminiscent of the works found on her first CD and louder and more emotional vibe respectively.
Conversely, the worst songs on fearless tend to be a little bland at best. Two good examples of this are "You Belong With Me" and "Forever & Always."
Most of the rest of "Fearless" falls into the average category, having some level of quality offset by either lack of originality or creativity. And at least two of the songs, "Fifteen" and "The Best Day" can best be described as simplistic. This of course, can be looked at one of two ways.
Swift is actively involved in the songwriting on "Fearless" and it shows. Much of the lyrical content circulates around the typical experiences of youth and may turn some off. But despite this, it is quite obvious she is very talented, especially for somebody of such a young age.
Overall, I would rate this CD a 3.5/5 or a "B-" on a typical grading scale and I would recommend it to any casual country music fan.
Customer Rating: Summary: unbelievable from start to finish Comment: This album is absolutely amazing from start to finish, and the thought of Taylor writing every song on the CD is just mind boggling. Here are the songs that will likely become singles, and could all become huge blockbuster hits on both Country and Pop radio:
~1~"Love Story"
~2~"White Horse"
~3~"Fearless"
~4~"You Belong With Me"
~5~"Fifteen"
~6~"The Way I Loved You"
Note: "Change" was a big hit last summer at the Olympics, and "The Best Day" - which happens to be the best song on the whole album - most likely will not get released as a single, which is sad. So make sure you buy this CD - it is an absolute classic!!!!!!!!
Customer Rating: Summary: Fantastic Comment: I don't normally care for country, but I have friends who rave about Taylor Swift, so I thought i'd give it a shot. I can't stop listening to it! Great CD! It's been so long since i've found a CD that I enjoy completely. Definitely recommend this album.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great CD, not as many 'fast' songs like "Should've Said No" and "Picture to Burn" Comment: A lot of nice and good new songs; not as many 'fast' ones, like "Picture to Burn" or "Should've Said No". Consequently, they also all begin to sound the same, but that's just my opinion. Take a listen for yourself before you buy.
Customer Rating: Summary: Awesome Albumn Comment: I would suggest buying this albumn if you are thinking about purchasing more than 2 of the songs from iTunes. They are all amazing.
